Seerita graduated from the University of Guelph-Humber in 2024 with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Psychology and a certificate in Intercultural Relations. She is actively involved in community engagement and mental health advocacy, volunteering with seniors at a retirement home, supporting families of sick children through Ronald McDonald House Charities, and providing crisis support through Crisis Text Line.
Throughout her time at Guelph-Humber, Seerita is grateful for Nalini’s mentorship and the inspiration she has provided. She is currently working toward becoming a Registered Social Services Worker, and with Professor Nalini’s guidance, she plans to continue her education by pursuing a Master of Social Work, with the goal of supporting individuals in need through access to resources and clinical care.
Beyond her academic and community involvement, Seerita enjoys practicing yoga, staying active at the gym, reading, and exploring photography.
